'My Mysuru: We shall preserve it' is a booklet released by Mysore Grahakara Parishat. The 24 page booklet has comments from Mysoreans who lived in the 60s, who say that the city has lost its old charm. The booklet highlights the decline in nearly 20 parameters such as water supply, sewage handling, power supply, garbage clearance, lakes, roads, markets, public health, communal harmony etc.
"It is easy to blame political leaders for all our woes, that is exactly what every Mysorean does today. How often do we ask ourselves what our responsibilities are and what we have done for Mysore?" is the question posed in the booklet.
