Bus travellers, register your complaints

Mysore Grahakara Parishat held a public meeting in several months ago in which officials of KSRTC promised that most of the problems raised at the meeting would soon be solved and that there would be a noticeable all-round improvement in the bus services by April 2014.

But it appears that this promise has not been kept. We continue getting frequent complaints regarding deficiency in the city bus services, non-working of ITS boards, inadequate trips, improper timings, lack of concessions to the senior citizens, non-enforcement of seat reservation for ladies, senior citizens, handicapped, etc., lack of buses on routes linking schools and colleges, stopping of buses away from designated bus stops, rude behaviour of staff, etc.

Surprisingly, the complaints cell of KSRTC is not getting many calls from the public and even the few calls it gets do not always relate to deficiency in service! MGP urges the bus-travelling public to take up their issues with KSRTC directly. We will not get an improved service unless we register our complaints with the authorities and follow up until they are solved. These are the ways you can contact KSRTC to register your complaints.
